Description

Comprising only two ingredients and named after the 1971 classic movie, the French Connection is a sophisticated cocktail even Gene Hackman would happily sip.

The best French Connection recipe is all about the necessity of using a quality Cognac to pair with the sweet, smooth almond flavour of Amaretto.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 oz or 45 ml Cognac
  • 1 oz or 30 ml Amaretto
  • Lemon twist for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine: Pour the Cognac and Amaretto into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  2. Stir: Gently stir the ingredients together.
  3. Garnish: Garnish with a lemon twist and serve.

Notes

Fun Fact: At no point in the 1971 The French Connection movie did anyone actually sip this tasty two-ingredient cocktail.
