Background
As a full-time editor & writer for both the Drinks Geek and Viora London, my work as it is incredibly varied; one day I am visiting a gin distillery for the Drinks Geek, and the next, I am sampling niche perfumes for the Viora London lifestyle blog.
My time spent working in both the drinks, fragrance and fashion industries over the last 30 years has bestowed on me a firm belief that our sense of smell and taste can instantly transport us to wonderful times of the past, present and future.
Personal Journey
Interesting fact; my family in Lithuania have been making mead for generations; first, my grandfather, then my father, and the baton was been handed to me in 1997 to continue this wonderful tradition. I am also a member of the British Distilleries Alliance.
Myself and my life partner Andrew Radford are lucky enough to travel to fascinating breweries, distilleries, drinks fairs & festivals all over the world to sample the old, new and exciting.
Recent trips include a visit to the Bombay Sapphire Gin Distillery in the UK, sampling the many Belgium Beers and Genever in Bruges, plus not forgetting making mead in my native Lithuania.
