Description

Originating from Cuba, the Daiquiri is a refreshing concoction that blends white rum, lime juice and sugar, making it a timeless cocktail with a holiday vibe.

The best Daiquiri cocktail epitomises the simplicity and elegance of a well-made rum drink (so we like to keep it simple). It’s zesty, clean, and crisp with a sweet twist.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz or 60 ml White Rum
  • 1 oz pr 30 ml Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz or 15 ml Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lime Wheel (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine: In a shaker filled with ice, mix the rum, lime juice, and simple syrup.
  2. Shake: Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
  3. Strain: Strain into the chilled glass.
  4. Garnish: Add a lime wheel for garnish and serve.

Notes

The Daiquiri is often associated with author Ernest Hemingway, who had a particular version of this cocktail named after him – the “Hemingway Daiquiri,” which includes grapefruit juice and maraschino liqueur.
