Aperol Spritz
- Total Time: 2 minutes
- Yield: 1 Serving 1x
Description
Refreshing Aperol combined with sparkling Prosecco and a splash of soda, nothing says Italian late afternoon more than an Aperol Spritz cocktail.
Ingrid and I enjoyed our first Aperol Spritz at a local food festival in Buckinghamshire (see picture below!) and cheekily asked for the recipe. This Aperol Spritz cocktail is super simple to make for you at home.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 oz or 60 ml of Aperol
- 3 oz or 90 ml of Prosecco
- 1 oz or 30 ml of soda water
- Ice cubes.
- Garnish: Slice of orange.
Instructions
- Combine: Add the Aperol and Prosecco into a wine glass and gently stir.
- Mixer: Add a splash of soda water and 3-4 large ice cubes.
- Garnish: Pop a slice of orange into the glass, then serve.
Notes
The Aperol Spritz pairs well with savoury nibbles such as olives and small dishes such as Italian Bruchetta or Polpette, Spanish Tapas.
